How to use ALIAS privacy protocol for anonymous card creation
2 min read
Privacy Features
ALIAS offers optional privacy features that make your card creation completely anonymous using zero-knowledge proofs. This guide shows you how to enable and use privacy mode.
Advanced Feature
Privacy mode requires saving secret recovery notes that cannot be recovered if lost. Only use if you understand the requirements.
Overview
Privacy mode breaks the link between your payment and your card creation, making your card completely untraceable on the blockchain.
Standard Mode: Wallet A → Payment → Card linked to Wallet A
Privacy Mode: Wallet A → Deposit to Pool → Mixing → Anonymous Withdrawal → Card (no link to Wallet A)
How to Use Privacy Mode
Step 1: Enable "Private Payment" toggle before creating card
Step 2: Choose fixed amount only ($25, $50, $100, $200, $500)
Step 3: Complete deposit to privacy pool
Step 4: SAVE YOUR SECRET NOTE (critical!)
Step 5: Wait for more deposits (optional, for better privacy)
Step 6: Withdraw anonymously and receive card
See Privacy Protocol for detailed instructions.
Save Your Note
Your secret recovery note is the ONLY way to access your deposited funds. It's not stored anywhere. If lost, funds are permanently unrecoverable.
