Organizing Cards

  • Expired/Closed cards

Sort Options:

  • By creation date (newest first)
  • By balance (highest first)
  • By amount (largest first)

Search: Find cards by amount or date range

Monitoring Usage

Balance Tracking: See remaining balance on each card in real-time

Transaction History: View all charges and when they occurred

Status Changes: Get notified when cards expire or are suspended

Multiple Cards: Manage all your cards in one centralized dashboard

Card Expiration

Check expiration dates regularly, especially for cards used in subscriptions. Expired cards cannot be used.

Best Practices

For Security:

  1. Don't leave card details visible in public
  2. Use password managers to store full card info
  3. Monitor for unexpected charges
  4. Close or delete unused cards

For Organization:

  1. Note which card is used for which merchant
  2. Create separate cards for different purposes
  3. Track expiration dates for subscription cards
  4. Keep records of important purchases

For Privacy:

  1. Use different cards for different merchants
  2. Consider cards "burned" after single use if privacy-focused
  3. Create new cards rather than reusing old ones

Card States

Cards can be in different states:

Active: Working normally, ready to use

Suspended: Temporarily disabled (contact support)

Expired: Past expiration date, cannot be used

Closed: Permanently deactivated

See Card Lifecycle for details on each state.

Next Steps

Stay Organized

Create a system for tracking which card is used where. This makes it easier to manage subscriptions and monitor spending.
